Goals, titles, great moments!
An exuberant atmosphere, happy faces and sporting highlights - there is no better way to sum up the Storopack Football Tournament 2022. After a four-year break due to the coronavirus and two postponements of the event, 400 employees came together in Metzingen on September 16 and 17. A new record, compared to the last time there were 160 more sports enthusiasts who traveled from many European Storopack locations.
16 TEAMS AT THE START
They experienced two eventful days: Friday morning kicked off with a "Come Together" and a tour of the Metzingen branch, before Friday afternoon on the sports field in Metzingen was all about football. 16 teams competed in exciting and always fair matches. At the evening event in Reutlingen, the participants celebrated at the award ceremony and subsequent party with a DJ. A video review with images from previous tournaments and drone footage from this year's event were among the emotional highlights of the evening.
ON THE ROAD TOGETHER
The following Saturday was packed full of experiences: A guided tour of the distillery in Beuren, a visit to the Böhringen mill, a joint hike to the Römerstein tower in Böhringen and finally a shopping tour through the outlets in Metzingen left nothing to be desired. The activities provided ample opportunity to get to know colleagues from other locations and to network. An all-round successful weekend: The now traditional company event left a thoroughly positive impression - many employees expressed their thanks for it and are looking forward to a follow-up soon.
