STOROPACK IS INVOLVED IN THE “OPERATION CLEAN SWEEP” INITIATIVE, WHICH IS DEDICATED TO PREVENTING PLASTIC POLLUTION IN THE ENVIRONMENT
We have committed to the objectives of Operation Clean Sweep and thus set the goal of preventing any plastic particles used at our production facilities from finding their way into the environment through water. We therefore support measures to prevent pellet loss in the plastics value chain.
To achieve this goal, the necessary technical and structural conditions have been created at our facilities to prevent the spillage of granules and ensure that any granules that have been spilt do not find their way into the environment. For example, our systems have been equipped with special water filters and our employees have been trained to prevent the spillage of plastic granules and, if necessary, effectively dispose of them.
