We’re committed to reducing the emissions connected to our products, which is why we never stop working to improve product design and make sound decisions like choosing to procure low-emission raw materials. The ClimatePartner certificate is a confirmation of this process. But because it’s not possible to prevent all emissions during production and transport, we’ve joined forces with ClimatePartner to track and reduce the emissions connected to our products. With its AIRplus® Bio Home Compostable air cushions, Storopack supports additional projects that focus on reforestation and protecting wildlife habitats.

The climate project in Rimba Raya protects the habitat of Indonesia's critically endangered orangutans.
We support the Rimba Raya project in Indonesia, which is dedicated to restoring forests and creating additional habitat for wildlife such as endangered orangutans. The 64,000-hectare Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve in southeastern Borneo is home to some of Borneo's endangered orangutans and serves as a buffer zone between palm oil farms and Tanjung Puting National Park. This project reduces greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 3.5 million tons per year and has been verified by the Sustainable Development Verified Impact Standard (SD VISta) and AENOR as contributing to all 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
