Communication fully restored after cyberattack

Following the cyberattack we were affected by in March 2023, our e-mail communications and telephony have been fully restored. Through the most careful forensics and cleanup, we can assure our business partners that no viruses from the attack are hidden in our emails. E-mail communication fully restored after cyberattack

Twelve weeks after the cyberattack on our systems, our email communications have been fully restored. Through careful forensics and cleanup, we can assure our customers, suppliers and business partners that no viruses from the attack are hidden in our e-mails. At the moment, we can still be reached by telephone on a limited basis. Our IT department is working with high priority to restore all systems. The fact, that we were able to produce and deliver worldwide during the attack is thanks to the enormous commitment, creativity and team spirit of our employees. We would also like to thank our customers, suppliers and partners for their great support and patience.

Email communication largely restored after cyberattack

Five weeks have now passed since the attack on our IT systems. Our production and delivery capability is guaranteed. Most of the employees at Storopack have access to their e-mails again. Through the most careful forensics and cleanup, we can assure our customers, suppliers, and business partners that no viruses from the attack are hidden in our e-mails. Telephony has been partially restored. Our IT department is continuing to work intensively to make all systems available again. We owe our worldwide operational functionality to the enormous commitment as well as the creativity and team spirit of our employees. We also continue to thank our customers, suppliers, and partners for their great support.

Storopack remains able to deliver after cyberattack

Almost one week after the attack on our IT systems, we are still able to produce and deliver. Our production and delivery capability was not interrupted at any time. Only the online store is currently unavailable. Personal availability is still guaranteed via emergency numbers on the website. We are currently still unable to receive e-mails. Phone systems have been partially restored. Our IT department is working at full speed to make the systems available again. We would like to thank our customers, suppliers and partners for the great support we have received so far. Furthermore, we would like to thank our employees for their enormous commitment.

Accessibility impaired: The Metzingen-based protective packaging manufacturer fell victim to a cyberattack

The Metzingen-based protective packaging specialist Storopack recorded a criminal attack on its IT systems on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. The company is therefore currently not reachable by e-mail and only to a limited extent by telephone. In accordance with its IT emergency protocol, Storopack took the necessary security measures immediately after becoming aware of the cyber attack and informed the police and other responsible authorities. Delivery delays may currently occur, Storopack is working at full speed to continue to ensure delivery capability. The company's website is not affected by the cyber attack: At www.storopack.com, customers and partners can find telephone numbers through which they can currently reach the company's locations. There, Storopack also provides information on the current status at all times. "We are working intensively to fully restore all systems. I would like to thank our employees, who are working with great commitment to achieve this. Thanks also go to our customers and partners for their understanding and support in the current situation," says Hermann Reichenecker, Chairman of the Management Board of Storopack.
